Currently, BOP looking for Unit Head Field Collections & Recoveries officer in Lahore branch.

Position Overview

The Unit Head of Field Collections & Recoveries at the Bank of Punjab is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and optimising field-based recovery operations. The role focuses on improving asset quality, minimising non-performing loans (NPLs), and ensuring effective recovery strategies in compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field collections and recoveries teams across assigned regions.

• Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to reduce NPL ratios.

• Monitor delinquent portfolios and ensure timely follow-up and recovery actions.

• Coordinate with legal, risk, and credit departments for complex recovery cases.

• Ensure compliance with SBP guidelines, banking laws, and ethical recovery practices.

• Analyse recovery performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate field staff to enhance productivity and professionalism.

• Strengthen customer engagement while maintaining the bank’s reputation and service standards.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.

• A master’s degree or professional banking certification will be an advantage.

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in banking collections and recoveries, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage large field teams effectively.
