Job Description

To oversee our mobile engineering team in Japan, Peatix is looking for a product-driven Native Apps Manager. You will work directly with the technical and product teams to direct the development of our iOS and Android applications, which are used by attendees and organizers all around the world.

Key Responsibilities of Native Apps Manager

• Work with product partners to develop and prioritize the roadmap for native apps.
• In terms of architecture, implementation, and code quality, exercise technical leadership.
• When necessary, make direct contributions to the codebase.
• Oversee and assist a remote, varied engineering team.
• Mentor team members for professional advancement and have frequent one-on-one meetings.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and completion of important technological initiatives.
• Recruit and integrate engineers to foster team development
• Make sure native apps are scalable, performant, and maintainable.
• Take part in the operational support on-call rotation.
