Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and fix large vehicles, trucks, and diesel engines.
• Conduct planned service and preventative maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools to find mechanical and electrical problems.
• Test, replace, and fix car parts and systems.
• Make sure every task complies with Australian safety and compliance regulations.
• Keep thorough records of all services and repairs.
• To fulfil deadlines, cooperate with the workshop team.

Skills & Experience Required

• Certification as a heavy vehicle or diesel mechanic.
• Shown expertise operating large machinery and diesel engines.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively.
• Understanding of workplace safety and health procedures.
• A valid driver’s licence from Australia is required; an HR licence is recommended but not necessary.
