For the role of Branch Operations Manager (OG-II/OG-I) in Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is looking for a highly skilled and driven individual. This position is in charge of sustaining NBP’s high standards for banking services while guaranteeing seamless branch operations, regulatory compliance, service excellence, and effective management of operational personnel.

Key Responsibilities of branch operations manager

• Oversee daily branch operations in compliance with SBP and NBP requirements.
• Verify adherence to AML, KYC, audit standards, and internal controls.
• Oversee operational personnel and guarantee efficient personnel management and training.
• Keep a check on account services, deposits, clearing, remittances, and cash management.
• Collaborate with branch management to enhance operational effectiveness and customer service quality.
• Assist with internal and external audits and prepare operational reports.
• Determine operational hazards and put preventative measures in place.

Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor’s degree (ideally a master’s) in banking, finance, business administration, or a similar discipline.
• At least five to seven years of relevant banking experience, ideally in branch operations.
• Strong knowledge of operational risk management, compliance, and SBP regulations.
• Outstanding leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking systems.
