To promote cutting-edge, creative solutions across Japanese industries, Scoville is looking for a skilled cross-platform engineer. In this position, you will directly contribute to the development of intelligent, scalable cross-platform desktop and mobile applications that improve user experience and business value.

Responsibilities

Using a single white-labeled codebase, you will create and manage apps for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. You will develop shared packages, incorporate WebViews, and construct dependable communication layers between native shells and web content while working within our pnpm/Turborepo monorepo. Together with a small product team, you will suggest technological solutions that support the project’s objectives.

Requirements for Cross-Platform Engineer

The ideal applicant has more than five years of professional programming experience, a thorough understanding of native build tools and deployment procedures, and proficiency with React Native, React, Electron, TypeScript, and JavaScript. It is necessary to have knowledge of native modules, monorepos, and authentication (OIDC/OAuth2). Proficiency in English, a current work visa, and remote availability are prerequisites.
