Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer to design, evaluate, and optimize oil and gas extraction processes in Qatar’s energy portfolio. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve production performance, reservoir management, and drilling operations — delivering efficient and safe energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reservoir evaluations, simulation modeling, and performance forecasting.

• Design and optimize drilling plans, production systems, and recovery methods.

• Monitor well performance and recommend enhancements for hydrocarbon extraction.

• Analyze geological, geophysical, and production data to drive decisions.

• Coordinate with drilling, geoscience, and field operations teams.

• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and Qatar energy regulations.

• Prepare technical reports, budgets, and project documentation.

• Integrate innovative technologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in oil & gas production, reservoir engineering, or drilling optimization.

• Strong understanding of reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, CMG).

• Knowledge of well completion, production optimization, and reservoir management.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with Qatar regulatory standards and HSE policies.

• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
